VIA + Buz usually doesn't work. I'm sorry, but the Buz is picky about
mainboard chipsets and the VIA isn't the best option here. Try the card
out in a computer with a different mainboard chipset (Intel is usually a
good choice, the 440BX, for example).

You didn't give the dmesg, but your previous mail (I read it but my
reply didn't get here) did, IIRC. It had a timeout. That might be caused
by the mainboard. Again, please try the card in a different computer.
Buz+VIA just doesn't work sometimes... :-(.
