Hello!

I bought a Hauppauge WinTV-dbx (model 703), and I can get it to show
video, but sound isn't working for me.

# BTTV, try #2: http://www.homepages.lu/y.glodt/linux/ftvco/
# Include this in your /etc/modules.conf
# Be sure that there are no other bttv/i2c related module-options around!

post-install bttv modprobe -sk msp3400
post-remove bttv modprobe -r msp3400; modprobe -r tuner ; modprobe -r tvaudio

According to the file /usr/src/linux/Documentation/video4linux/bttv/Sound-FAQ
I should be at the trial-and-error stage, but I'm not sure what to tweak,
or where.

Help?

If you're a horse, and someone gets on you, and falls off, and then gets right
back on you, I think you should buck him off right away.
