I have the xawtv working with the RedHat 7.1 distribution. The docs I seem to find on the v4l API are pretty limited. I a writing an app to grab frames, compress them using our wavelet/n-tree encoding and squirt the results out via 100BaseT. I am looking for some documentation on the API and a HOWTO to use Video4Linux. Any help will be appreciated. Mike
