Here's my ATI Wonder VE stuff

/etc/modules.conf
# TV
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv
#pre-install bttv modprobe -k msp3400; modprobe -k tuner
pre-install bttv modprobe -k msp3400
options bttv card=2 autoload=0 radio=0 fieldnr=1 gbuffers=2
post-install bttv insmod tuner type=17

Good luck, I just lost my root partition and it took my xawtv config file.
So now when I start xawtv, I've got to select PAL and US cable then resize
the window. Changing channels works fine though.
