I am referring to an April-May correspondence between Messrs Lukas Gebauer and Gerd Knor. You see, I am using an ATI TV Wonder card and have exact symptoms as Lukas had. Tuner woyking fine but no sound from the Composite input. Using kernel 2.4.7 patched with bttv-0.7.73 and xawtv-3.60. In his message from 1st May Lukas attached a patch mspwonder.diff and afaik Gerd patched msp3400.c in bttv-0.7.66. Would it mean that my card should woyk properly with the driver I am using? Then there must be insmod options and/or entries in ./~xawtv that are not covered in man pages - to enable audio from an external input. I would be very grateful if someone gives me a hint here.
