Apologies for going slightly off topic, but will OpenML (www.khronos.org) the proposed 'industry standard' SGI-like digital media libraries have any impact on the future of V4L2? Is a Linux version likely to be built on top of V4L2? Not that I have any complaints about V4L2, but having used the SGI dmedia libraries I think a platform independent media API like that would be great. Iain.
