Hi,
bttv has some problems regarding interrupts (linux-2.4.6-ac5):
- Only at startup, the xawtv window stays black for about 1-2 minutes,
then the picture is perfect.
- Switching channels I get once per switch:
v4l: oops: got sigalarm
ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(0): Interrupted system call
However the switch works just fine.
- "cat /proc/interrupts" shows bttv takes _no_ irqs
( I don`t use the other driver, so this stays silent irq-wise too;
Note: usb and scsi work fine when used in this situation).
This is on a shared IRQ9, so I just varied modules loaded:
- IRQ 9: bttv only -> see above
- IRQ 9: bttv, usb-uhci -> see above
- IRQ 9: bttv, sym53c8xx: - > Works perfect !!!
When it "works" a station switch causest about 5-20 interrupts.
Any hints ?

P.S. The second tv card in IRQ11 doesn't mind if it has IRQ11
alone or shares with tulip.
