This may sound a bit stupid to all of you, but I'm a newbie to linux video os bear with me. I've retired after 32 years in the film and tv business as an actor, writer, director, etc., and I'm very interested in building a professional grade, broadcast quality, linux edit box, that I call Lex. Of course, I don't know what I'm doing but, I was wondering if anyone out there is working on designing and building a broadcast quality non-linear editing system based on the linux os.
Thanks,
John Quade
