Hi listmembers! For some of my projects I'm looking for an i2c bus in my computer. I want to use the bus otherwise (i.e. outside of the computer) by attaching new devices. I know of the SMBus, but I cant use it on my current board. As the Haupauge TV cards also implement an i2c bus I would like to know whether I could use that instead. - Controlled by the PC. Did somebody try that already? Where can I get more information? Or is the risk to attach to the correct pins too high? - A new acceptable board (use of the SMBus) would cost ~$180. Thanks, Robert
