I upgraded to the 2.4.7 kernel and I found the problem is still there and only occurs in the following case : 1) load the bttv modules 2) start xawtv -device /dev/video0 (bttv card) 3) load the ov511 module 4) start xawtv -device /dev/video1 (webcam) 5) close xawtv that is displaying the webcam image 6) unload the ov511 module (no problem). 7) close xawtv that is using the bttv card. After this I can't unload the bttv modules anymore. (they report being busy) I used the drivers that come with the 2.4.7 kernel.
