Perhaps I wasn't very clear, sorry.
What I meant was: 
When I close xawtv and start vcr, vcr complains.
There's really no application using /dev/video0, but I still get it to report 
as being in use.
This problems occurs since yesterday when I first started using a webcam 
(ov511 module).
But, even though unloading doesn't work (busy), xawtv can still be started 
and works as normal.

My webcam is using /dev/video1 and bttv is using /dev/video0.

Perhaps I'll first try upgrading the bttv and ov511 driver.
