If you feel up to a bit of hacking, you can also try find the occurence
of "BT848_GPIO_DMA_CTL_PKTP_32" in bttv-driver.c . Change the "32" to
"16", or "8" to make teh Bt8x8 more agressive in aquiring PCI bandwidth
- will slow the system down, but get you better video...

Thank you for the advice, but this doesn't work.. :(
Unfortunately my Award BIOS doens't have a PCI Latency option..
I find it strange to believe everything works so well the first time for everyone here since I have encountered at least a dozen of different errors. I tried to reconfigure my BIOS and even 16 bit didn't work anymore... But I fixed it again after a while... My motherboard is from MSI K7T Pro2 with a VIA chipset with a Duron 800Mhz processor... so it should more than able to handle the load... Maybe I'll find out what's the problem someday..
Tips are still welcome ofcause :)
