Okay, I was able to do this, but now only root can run xawtv and get a
picture.  I attempted to set the uid on xawtv, but it won't start at all
then and provides a message saying it can not be suid.

Under my previous system (SUSE), xawtv had group video and my id was a
member of that group.  I'll go this route if necessary, but is there an
easier way?
