planar YUV 4:2:2 to RGB 24 bpp converter

Hello there,

I am trying to use the BT 878 in the (almost undocumented) "Digital
Video Input Mode". Hopefully, I will capture data in YUV 4:2:2 planar
format. I have a capture application (based in xcaptest), but with no
graphical dislaying since I do not capture RGB data.

I was wondering wether anyone had a simple conversion routine to
perform YUV422 -> RGB 24bpp (like yuvsplittoppm does) so that I can
display captured data. Performance is not an issue for me right now. All
I want is something like: "unsigned char *pointer_to_rgb_data
yuv422_to_rgb(*Y_pointer, [*U_pointer,] [*V_pointer,] int width, int
height);"

TIA,

	Miguel

P.D.- Anyone interested in this working mode of the BT 878, please feel
free to e-mail for comments/suggestions.
