Well, I got it to work. The magic RTFM was :

		xawtv-3.19/README.xfree4

Once you read it, and especially recompile xawtv AFTER installing X, and
WHILE running the X v4, it works befautully (in terms of video). It
finally scales nice up to full screen w/out ugly borders no matter
what resolution is.

Now, I would like to see sound working. Unfortunatelly it is not.
I have connected speakers directly to tv card's sound output but
no sound so far at all.

The TV card I'm using is "Phoebe TV Master". From bttv I'm using
card #22 which is defined as "Phoebe TV Master + FM", however I don't
think this is quite the same card as I don't think mine has FM.

Does anyone has magic line to set sound on plain old "Phoebe TV Master"?
I seem to recall the init for this card was changed a back while, so mabye
it is when the old settings got lost.
