I have just sent an e-mail to Marcel for further assistance in compiling the drivers. Could not figure it out on my own.... But your opinion seems to be that it will be useless anyway, and that it won't work on my system? If there must be done any sort of hacking, I think I must cease my efforts and ask someone else to do it. This is clearly not my expertise. It's too bad that Medion did not put ready-to-use Linux drivers on the CDROM, like they do for "that other operating system". Or at least clear step-by-step installation instructions. Linux users have a long time to go without proper support from hardware vendors, I guess :( But then, a bit of pioneer spirit is not a bad thing to have when you want to use Linux as your primary OS - I'm learning every day :) Kind regards, Olav.
