Well, I got it working ok - but it uses the /dev/input/eventX driver in lircd. You'll need the CVS version of lirc and make sure you configure in the /dev/input/event stuff. For me, it generates events on /dev/input/event0 and I set up my lircd.conf to detect the unique numbers that pop out of the lircd socket. It's working 100% :) Cheers, David. > Message: 2 > Date: Sat, 04 Oct 2003 20:18:42 +0200 > From: Wieslaw Kierbedz <sprawki@xxxxx> > To: video4linux-list@xxxxxxxxxx > Subject: ir-common question > Reply-To: video4linux-list@xxxxxxxxxx > > I would lke to find some faq about new Gerd module. > Do I understand it right - there is no way to integrate ir-common with > lirc daemon?
