Problems/Questions About using Xvideo X11 extension & Linux Video Studio

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've got the following problem:
I get this message when starting Linux Video Studio:

Guessing port..... No suitable video4linux port found, please supply one by using the "-p <num>" switch. Use the "-t" switch to see the list of ports available
on your computer.
If you cannot find a video4linux device, you probably need to enable the Xvideo
extension in your X-server

When I run xvinfo I get this:
xvinfo

Is there something I need to do to get my video for linux capture card (dc10+) to show up. I am using V4L2 and a cvs version of the zoran driver from a few weeks ago. Is there anything I am overlooking that I need to do to enable the V4L card with Xvideo? I am loading the driver for the card after i get into Xwindows using the update script that comes with the driver....

Overlay seems to work fine in xawtv.....

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
macca
