Porting XAWTV to Embedded devices

Hi All,
  Is "XAWTV" is suitable for porting in embedded devices like Set 
Top
Box and Personal Video Recorder ?
  When I watch "XAWTV" in monitor it is good ? How will be the 
output
in a interlaced device like television ?
