One thing to check is that the files in /lib/modules/(KERNEL)/v4l2 aren't being overridden by other versions in /misc or /kernel/drivers/media/video Travis Place wrote: I have seen this problem with my card aswell..It seemed to be with certain machines though. As I compiled the same version of saa7134 and v4l2 on 2 different machines..one of the machines kept saying "/dev/video0: device or resource busy", but the other machine, just worked first go. I also swapped cards over in the machines to see if one of thee cards was buggy, but it wasn't.. There seems to be a few driver issues with the saa7134 at the moment (im still getting no sound most of the time). I guess all we can do is wait ? -----Original Message----- From: video4linux-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:video4linux-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bill Eldridge Sent: Sunday, September 07, 2003 9:47 PM To: video4linux-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: SAA7134: can't open /dev/video0: Device or resource busy eric lin wrote:--- hermann pitton <hermann.pitton@xxxxxx> wrote:Es schrieb Fu Jacky:HI, Can you like to tell us the detail steps which you have done, maybewe canhelp you?Someone can help me, please? Ciao! Gianfranco. - Kernel 2.4.22 - v4l2 20030826 snapshot <---- - saa7134 0.2.8I'm running Kernel 2.4.22-pre10, saa7134-20030806, and v4l2-20030806 with no problems, if you want to back up to something that works for now. I just tested v4l2l-20030828 with this, and it works too, but I was getting module dependency errors with the lasts saa7134 snapshot. You might get away with just intalling the older saa7134 snapshot with your configuration. -- video4linux-list mailing list Unsubscribe mailto:video4linux-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/video4linux-list -- video4linux-list mailing list Unsubscribe mailto:video4linux-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/video4linux-list |
