Thanks for the suggestions on this and DXR3. Can these cards also play other formats like those from Real.com? I glanced through the FAQ and I don't see anything being mentioned.
I'd say get a used holywood+ card for <$10 ... you can find the drivers at dxr3.sf.net and the picture quality is excellent.
