Hi all, I installed my BTTV 878 video in card successfully in kernel 2.4.20 with bttv driver version 0.9.10 and 0.7.95. But now I must run this card in kernel 2.2.20. I download I2C package 2.7.0, patch the kenel, and compile it follow instruction from docs of bttv package. After I reboot with new kernel, I run lsmod I : Module Size Used by bttv 34048 0 (unused) i2c-old 3808 1 [bttv] videodev 2720 2 [bttv] soundcore 2768 0 (autoclean) (unused) 3c59x 22512 1 vfat 9840 3 (autoclean) fat 31520 3 (autoclean) [vfat] Now I run videodog to capture video in and I can receive only black image. I tried to run make in bttv-0.7.95 directory and reveceved errors: make -C driver bttv make[1]: execvp: ./uts-release: Permission denied make[1]: Entering directory `/data/BTTV/bttv-0.7.95/driver' cc -c -o bttv-driver.o bttv-driver.c In file included from /usr/include/linux/sched.h:74, from /usr/include/linux/mm.h:4, from bttv-driver.c:31: /usr/include/asm/processor.h:18:27: linux/threads.h: No such file or directory In file included from bttv-driver.c:37: /usr/include/asm/pgtable.h:18:27: linux/threads.h: No such file or directory In file included from /usr/include/linux/interrupt.h:52, from bttv-driver.c:42: /usr/include/asm/hardirq.h:5:27: linux/threads.h: No such file or directory In file included from /usr/include/linux/interrupt.h:52, from bttv-driver.c:42: /usr/include/asm/hardirq.h:18:80: linux/irq_cpustat.h: No such file or directory In file included from /usr/include/linux/init.h:51, from bttv-driver.c:45: /usr/include/asm/init.h:1:2: #error "<asm/init.h> should never be used - use <linux/init.h> instead" make[1]: *** [bttv-driver.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/data/BTTV/bttv-0.7.95/driver' make: *** [bttv] Error 2 Any one know this problem please help me Phung Chi Kien Automation engineer __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
