Hello
Thnxs;
 As a matter of fact, I do know (and also use) V4L1 driver for the
logitech quickcam camera. I do not know much about v4l2 drivers.

What interests me : with the current logitech quickcam cameras ,
is there a possiblility to use v4l2 driver (if somebody had developed such a c4l2 driver)
? Or is it a problem in the camera itself
which does not support V4L2 features, and therefore such v4l2 driver
cannot be developed ? and if so - what it the feature which the logitech quickcam camera
does not have which is the problem ?

regards
sting

No. But there are V4L1 drivers. A good starting point is at
