Eric, thank you for your suggestions.

I'm not sure that I used it correctly -- I presume that the HCWAMC.RBF
file I'm looking for is the decoder, right? I did this:

% ivtvfwextract.pl pvr250_16_21062.exe /etc/pvr/encoder.rbf
/etc/pvr/decoder.rbf
% cd /etc/pvr
% ln -s decoder.rbf HCWAMC.RBF
% ln -s decoder.rbf hcwamc.rbf

Thanks, that got rid of a few warnings.

Now I get this:

% insmod bttv
Using /lib/modules/2.4.20-6custom/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o
/lib/modules/2.4.20-6custom/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o:
init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg

lspci shows:

02:00.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc: Unknown
device 0016 (rev 01)

Any suggestions on where to go? I looked on google, read through the
documentation, and am at a bit of a loss...

Thank you,

tom.
