[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Gidday Guys,

Re: Redhat 9.0/bttv compat/Nvidiva binary

does anyone know why my bttv compat card can capture on xawtv but cant
grabdisplay?

I think this might be some of the issues (see below) that i am
experiencing with mplayer when i use it -tv option? Plus i would like to
grab the display when i play my oe video to be able to digitalise it ...

Any responses welcomed ....

Hi,

Thanks for you help so far ...

tried the simple set of commands but to no avail ..

on starting my machine today the bttv driver didnt get loaded? So i
wonder if there are some hardware issues with it?

Plus also when i start xawtv from he command prompt i get these errors
below ..

And it doesnt start the tv window until the the last lot of messages
appear ...

maybe mplayer cant get a response straight away and it just locks up?

see below ...

Thanks for your help ....
