saa7134.o and kernel_flag_cacheline, I really need ugent help

Dear friends

Excuse me for sending this question for the second
time (and last time). I am really in trouble and I
must finish the project before its deadline and now I
am running out of time. Please help me if possible.

I have used saa7134 driver on RedHat 8.0 (Pyche)
before without any problem. Now I am trying to install
it on another machine (Pentium II) with the same OS
and version.

But I get this error whenmodprobing it:

unresolved symbol kernel_flag_cacheline

This is the only error message that I get. Such a
string does not exist in saa7134 source code
and it seems that it has been linked to object file
from other places.

I searched in /usr/src for that string and found it in
smp*.(c/h) files. But as far as I know these files are
linked to kernel when one has mo than one processor,
which is not my case. And my kernel is complied with
SMP option turned off. So why saa7134 requires it ?

I even tried turning to fool saa7134.o by recomplinng
my kernel with CONFIG_SMP turned on, eventhough my
system was single processor. This time module could be
loaded properly, but xawtv crashed and couldn't work
with the driver.

I think CONFIG_SMP must be off, but I do not know why
saa7134.o requires it. Please guide me when how I can
fix this problem.

Let me mention that I even turned on/off APIC kernel
options (I thought it might be related to SMP) but it
had no effect either.

Regards
