  How are you capturing and displaying the images?  The bttv driver will
give you the full quality of the original signal.

  One thing you can do is test with my 'tvtime' application.  It has
many modes to allow you to set it up for viewing your content optimally.
For example, if your camera provides progressive frames, bottom or top
field first, you can set up tvtime to view them as such.  See:
