i2c-algo-bit, bailout with DC30

Just compiled version 0.9.4 of the zoran drivers for DC30 card. When I modprobe them I get an error in the system log:-

Anyone got any ideas what may cause this?

I've got kernel 2.4.20 (straight from kernel.org, no more redhat hassles). I'm using zoran driver version 0.9.4. I haven't installed the v4l2 patch. The drivers compiled fine, installed fine, and loaded fine. However I just get the above error from the i2c stuff.

Arthur.
