I've been trying to install the zoran drivers for my DC30 card, without
much success.
I downloaded version 0.9.4, which compiled ok - ish. The kernel source
(2.4.20-9) that come with Redhat 9 has been patched to fix some VM
accounting bug, so I had to change the arguments for the
'remap_page_range' function to like 2.5.x. They compiled fine after
this, however on install I get a lot of unresolved symbols on a depmod.
I won't list the lot but here's a sample:-
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in

eo/videocodec.o

Can't work out what's going on here. After a bit of snooping around it
seems most of these functions are used by other stuff fine.
Any ideas?
My setup: Redhat 9 (distro jumped from redhat7.3), kernel 2.4.20-9. I've
installed the v4l2 drivers from bytesex.org ok (snapshot 20030415). I
have a radeon 7200, which is using the 'ati.2' and 'drm-kernel' drivers
from the gatos project. Couldn't get the 'km' v4l interface to compile,
cause of the change of remap_page_range prototype change.
BTW, I see the website says the drivers ain't 100% complete for the
DC30, are they working enough to get a reasonable video overlay picture
in xawtv from the svhs input?
Thanks,
Arthur Yarwood.
