Different tuner types on Medion 7134

Hi!

My hardware, Medion7134 MK (current Aldi-PC:-), works nearly perfectly
with the saa7134 driver Version 0.26, card=3 or 12/autodetected -- at
least with xv support from GATOS ati.2 Driver. ("Dankeschön" to Gerd
from me too). [with Version 0.27 xawtv hangs]

When I try to mute/unmute/inc Vol/dec Vol the title of xawtv window
changes correctly, but without effect. After few seconds, xawtv says

cmd: "volume" "mute"
...few seconds...
keypad: timeout

Only rmmod turns sound off. A Workaround on that machine is to put the
line "mixer = video" in xawtvrc (xawtv doesnt mute it on exit , but i can do
it manually with keypad-enter).

Using (e.g.) "card=06" I can control the sound, but got no video
reception; using card=09, i've got video, control over audio, but no
audio reception -- only noise....

Is that a new tuner-mixer combination on that board? The hardware is
labeled "Medion7134 Rev. CTX-908 V_3" and
Phillips FM1216ME/I H-3 SV20 0248"

Apart that, the xawtv window has "mono" in its title, even while
receiving MTV or ViVa from cable. As far as I can evaluate, its in fact
mono.

v4l2: tuner cap: STEREO LANG1 LANG2
v4l2: tuner rxs: MONO
v4l2: tuner cur: MONO

This was mainly for your information, since that card is sold probably
some hundred times in germany. For me, that works good enough.

Dirk.
