I've tried to test this driver but I have a few problems :(

The saa7134-gpio.* files should be put in the saa7134 driver's
directory? And if so how do I compile them? I tried to add saa7134-gpio
to the Make.conf file, compilation was fine but at make install I got
unresolved symbol for saa7134-gpio.

I guess the lirc_gpio_s.c should be put in the lirc source tree in
drivers/lirc_gpio directory replacing the lirc_gpio.c file. Am I right?
