unresolved symbol problems

I recently picked up a Pinnacle DC30 capture card which I've trying to get working on my Redhat 7.3 setup. I tried to install the zoran drivers from the mjpeg.sourceforge.net/driver-zoran/ project, however these said I'd need v4l2.

I tried to compile videodevX-20020330, however I'm getting lots of unresolved symbols when I depmod:-

/lib/modules/2.4.18-27.7.x/misc/videodevX.o: unresolved symbol register_chrdev /lib/modules/2.4.18-27.7.x/misc/videodevX.o: unresolved symbol create_proc_entry

/lib/modules/2.4.18-27.7.x/misc/videodevX.o: unresolved symbol request_module /lib/modules/2.4.18-27.7.x/misc/videodevX.o: unresolved symbol remove_proc_entry

/lib/modules/2.4.18-27.7.x/misc/videodevX.o: unresolved symbol mem_map
/lib/modules/2.4.18-27.7.x/misc/videodevX.o: unresolved symbol proc_root
/lib/modules/2.4.18-27.7.x/misc/videodevX.o: unresolved symbol init_mm

Any ideas?
My setup is a stock Redhat 7.3 (with updates), kernel: 2.4.18-27.7.x.
I also have an ATI radeon 7200 in the box, which is using the ati.2 and drm-kernel drivers from the gatos.sf.net project.

Redhat did autodetect the card and tried to use the zr36067 driver, but that didn't work (didn't recognise the card).

Arthur.
