Hi again,
Thanx for the tip, I finally tried 'mplayer', but unfortunately I have
other problems now.
I used the following command to watch tv with mplayer:
mplayer -tv on:driver=v4l:width=640:height=480:pal -vo xv
I got picture fullscreen without black borders (but still have some
black lines the left and right side), but I have no sound ( I have sound
in xawtv) and I got a message: 'ioctl set tuner failed: Invalid
argument'. When I run v4l-conf, also have an ioctl error message: 'ioctl
VIDIOC_QUERYCAP: Invalid argument'.
Could someone please help me solve the problems?
TIA,
Laci

Hi,
I'd like to watch Tv fullscreen (without black borders), so I should
use the Xvideo extension. But when I turn it on, the picture will be
inverted (the invert option in the window will also disappear).
Did you try 'mplayer' ?
Regards,
Yurij
