What says tvtime -v when it is getting slow on changing deinterlace
modes with t?
Are you also have slow video, when you call those modes -D from
commandline?

Just build latest cvs and saa7134 from today and this is unchanged for
me, but it is a known bug I think.

Also tested saa7134-0.2.6 on the new kernel (duplicated modules
removed.) and it now comes up without v4l-conf too. So I guess it is
because of changes in 4vl2 and v4l1-compat and not on the saa7134
modules. Audio scan is improved and when send into off, noise is
surpressed. (Will have a look a the new xawtv now.)
