Hello,

Is there any Linux supported USB video capture hardware out there. I have a Pinnacle Linx, but I can't seem to find Linux support for it anywhere.

Did you try the usbvision driver at http://aeinnovations.com/downloads/USBvision/?menu=907 ?

It might not recognize your device by default, so you may have to add its vendor and product IDs to the driver's device table. If that doesn't work, send the contents of /proc/bus/usb/devices to the driver author.

If you're looking for a device that's known to work, either go with the products on the usbvision page, or try to find a Lifeview USB capture box (I don't know if they're still making them). They are supported by the ov511 driver, and have the added benefit of compression support (for higher frame rates).
