But since now i have only Linux i am having troubles tuning to any stations.

I have the same problem.
If I reboot from windows I can see just the last channel that I saw in
windows and I cannot tune any other station. If I boot directly from

Hm, I have a PCTVpro board (PAL), vanilla kernel 2.4.20 and xawtv 3.72
(on a Debian/testing release) and everything's fine. Also I had no
problems with kernel 2.4.18 and the current stable Debian release, or
with the old potato release I used last year. Here is what my dmesg says:
