With saa7134-0.2.5 and new v4l2, patch kraxel 2.4.20 (Jan 17), on my md
9717 v4l1-compat starts working.
At least I can use zapping and mp4live. Have fun!

With latest xawtv snap (Feb. 14) nearly everything works in v4l2, even
PIA.

Some unhealth interference between radio (tda9887) and the saa7134
modules seems to be left.
Saw an ioctl: VIDEOC_DQBUF I/O error. Didn't test much, maybe locally.
