RH 8 and Winfast tv 2000xp deluxe

 Hi all!

First … this is a newbie question so please be patient with me J. Although I've been using linux for several years now as a secondary OS (due to the lack of special apps), I've never had to hack it to work something out... My experiences include just building a new kernel, some fine tuning and similar.

Recently I bought a tv card Leadtek Winfast tv 2000 xp deluxe, and for the last weak I've been trying to make it work under linux. Unfortunatly I'm kinda new to this. I thought RH 8 allready comes with a some sort of tv driver, but I gues it has to be fine tuned if there is one. When I scaned for hardware, system reports a video card on /dev/video0 device. So the question is: how do I do that? Is there an easy way of doing this in RH 8? Or maybe there is a common way?

Could someone direct me to some sort a tutorial or maybe help file. I found some help on the internet, but I don't know if they are still valid. Maybe someone is having this kind of configuration and could share his experiance with me. Any help appreciated.

Martin
