hello and good day, I am trying to rapidly switch video sources (via serial port control, not by the tuner) and capture at least one good frame at resolutions up to 704x576 with a Pinnacle PCTV. I am currently using kernel 2.4.20-pre8 and bttv version 0.7.102. At the moment I have gbuffers=2, am reading YUV420P frames via mmap, and really only get reliable results at 200ms and beyond (as another participant pointed out..) Is this really the fastest rate possible? sincerely, dI77IHd p.s. Here is my lspci: 00:00.0 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc.
