Hi all,
I'm having problems getting the external TV-tuner (breakout box) on my
Creative Personal Cinema (Same box used in Xtasy Everything) to work.
(Product: http://no.europe.creative.com/products/product.asp?prod=260)
I've been through the rivatv (bttv for NVidia cards) mailing list and been
in contact with the rivatv developers, and they seem to think that the
problem lays in the bttv tuner.o module which is also used with rivatv.
All syslog messages are OK, and the tuner module recognizes a Philips PAL_BG
(FI1216 and compatibles) type tuner, but I get a black screen and no audio
both in xawtv and mplayer.
I'm running on a custom compiled Redhat v8:
- Linux version 2.4.18-19.8.0
- gcc version 3.2 20020903
- tuner.o module from bttv-0-7.102
- xawtv c3.81
I'm probably breaking some rules now, but here is the syslog output. I
apologize if this is not the way to do things on this list.
