Here both 65500:65500 (what I specified to fm), and 0:0 is done here.
Why is it called multiple times?

My theory is that somewhere in msp3400 after tuning the radio is
working, and then something else executes and disables the sound (i can
hear it for 1/2 sec. after each tuning). Since I can hear it, I thought
it might be the daemoen-thing that does something wrong (it may delay
a bit before it is called)

Does either "insmod msp3400 simple=0" or "insmod msp3400 simple=1" help ?

simple="0" actually worked!!! :-))))) I never thought of giving 0 as a
parameter, just 1.

Could the autodetection of this be fixed?

"simple=0" disables msp-chip built-in sound standard autodetect.
Instead msp3400.c probes the standards in soaftware and selects
the strongest signal. This can make strange noises and it takes
more time.

But for this exact combination (pinnacle mt203x in radio mode)
a arowaround can be implemented.
