As mentioned in another post, I'd like to try and utilize a firewire
capture device under v4l. I know that there are other capture options
(standalone, not v4l-related), but v4l support is important because I'm
trying to use this hardware with MythTV, which is a v4l application.
My question is - does the possibility exist to use a firewire device
with v4l? If no drivers are there now (and I don't think there are), is
it even possible to write a v4l driver to support this?
