almost forgot. Dmesg shows: isapnp: Card 'Winnov ISA PNP Videum - Version 1.0' Doesnt that mean that the system is seeing the card?? Thanks again. -----Original Message----- From: David McBride Sent: Sunday, December 15, 2002 5:16 PM To: video4linux-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Winnov ISA problems I was useing an ATI All in Wonder, but a friend let me borrow a Winnov ISA Videum version 1.0 to try out. The system is Redhat 8.0. After installing Xawtv 3.80 and trying to run it it gives the errors: WARNING: Your X-Server has no DGA Support. can't open /dev/video0: no such device v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway v4l2: open /dev/video0: no such device v4l2: open /dev/video0: no such device v4l: open /dev/video0: no such device no video grabber device available I have done: added Load "v4l" to the modules section of XF86Config and added the line "add options bttv gbuffers=32" to the /etc/modules.conf file. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I thought the Winnov cards where supposed to be easy to get going??
