Best video capture card?

Hi folks,

I'm still trying to work this out.  I'm guessing I can do some 
interesting stuff with Firewire, but I've seen some pretty bad latency 
on other systems with it.  So I'm wondering if there's a consensus on 
which capture card(s) are really the best.  I'm talking speed, 
performance, latency, kind of thing.
