Yes I had simmilar problems but got it to succsesfully install after
several trys. Are you sure you installed ALL the required libraries as
per http://kino.schirmacher.de/article/static/3 and specificcly the
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/libavc1394/libavc1394-0.3.1.tar.gz?download
which is source only? After you are sure you have everything do a make
clean on your KINO directory and try it again.
