Silly audio question
[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
Hi everyone!
I've just got a silly question about audio from the tuner cards. In my
system I have a FlyVideo 3000, an onboard Vibra128 card (es1371) (also
calls itself STAC9708 as a mixer label) and a SB Live PCI card
(emu10k1). Currently I have a little flylead running from the output of
the FlyVideo into the line in of the SB Live card, and listen to the TV
with this.
However, in gmix I have an saa7134[0] device as well as the two sound
card mixers. This has a Line1, Line2 and Video channels with volume,
mute and record options for each. What are these for? Playing with
them gives no difference at all, is there meant to be a way to get the
audio off the SAA7134 or tuner without needing an analog flylead? If so,
how?
Thanks,
Rob
