Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble with an advantech PCM-9572f, running linux. I've got a wintv card installed, but the problem is that sometimes on boot the card is detected, while other times, it is not. Then, those times when it is detected, if I run an application such as xawtv, it will generally run for a little while, but the computer will lock up - can't log in to any of the terminals. The wintv card is connected via a PC104-PCI bridge connector, which is supposed to be transparent, but I suspect it might have something to do with it - just don't know though. I've tried several different distributions, but the flakiness is always there. Has anybody experienced anything like this. Its doing my head in!
