Hi again, then, if i load a new kernel (2.4.18 / 2.4.19) in my PC under Red Hat 7.1, i reach the API runs correctly? Sorry for my insistence but i only need that my card (Matrox Meteor II) works and it doesn't because driver needs v4l2 API to run. The install process' messages were about unresolved symbols with functions like "register_chrdev". Please, help me! -- Mensaje Original -- >Bill Eldridge wrote: > >> Peter Silva wrote: >> >>> I've been doing that for 2.4.18 and 2.4.19, and the kernel >>> builds correctly, although the modules end up in a funny place. >>> I would expect them to go into >>> /lib/modules/2.4.19/kernel/drivers/media/video >>> but they actually get put into /lib/modules/2.4.19/v4l2.
