Don't make the same mistake ALSA made.
Just make some code that apps can use if they like. If they don't, don't
let them use it. Don't make it a fullblown lib, either nobody will use

I didn't ment to force anyone. I just though about a lib that delivers frames
in only one or two formats. => An API as simple as possible, to make apps as
simple as possible...
We've discussed this before, by the way.
