The latest saa7134 snapshot (see http://bytesex.org/snapshot/) does print a dump of the (hopefully) relevant registers in case the carrier detect didn't work ... (audio_debug=1 insmod option makes the driver more verbose about the detection thing). Gerd -- You can't please everybody.
